Four days in a row playing with OpenClaw, and I’m really enjoying this.
Day 9 — I Joined a Gym
Brooks is working me! My day job provides free gym membership so I joined 10 Fitness in Paragould. Because of my no-ligaments-no-cartilage-bone-on-bone knees (check out that xray from 10 years ago), Brooks has me with low weights and high reps (40 reps, then, 30 reps). There is a study saying as long as the muscles are taxed, the ratio of weight vs reps doesn’t matter.
Day 10 — Josephine Morales
I love Joey from the Orphan X series by Gregg Hurwitz. So naturally when I needed a Systems Administrator, of course Joey was my first and only pick. Her initial task was a system cron job that spins up every minute, checks the current CPU and RAM usage & records it. Then at 8am every morning she sends me a graphic.
Day 11 — Lots of Reconfiguration
Great workout at the gym with Brooks — 11 exercises @ 70 reps each plus some time in 10 Fitness’ recovery room like on the CryoChair.
I spent most of my Spark DXG time on Saturday trying to figure out what was going on with my OpenClaw install using Claude’s web interface. I asked Claude a question, he’d give me a command to run, I’d paste it in and then give those results back to Claude.
After a few of those I told Claude to auto-copy the results of his command to my clipboard — that was a time saver and I felt really smart, until the next morning.
Day 12 — Oh, Yea.
Why did I not think to use Claude Code native to fix yesterday’s issues?
Why did I spend hours of copy/pasting Claude’s instructions?
I cursed those questions at myself throughout day 12. LOL
It was on this day that I decided that since Maverick McNealy was geared toward coding, the myriad of issues around blogging to WP were more than his LLM wanted to handle. Not a problem, Sean Walsh LOVES to be social so he can handle my blog.
Claude cleaned up all my OpenClaw issues and my agents were doing great. I spawned Collin Morikawa as the project accountant, created my website and pushed my first blog — Episode 1 of “My Agentic World” with proper Gutenberg blocks, featured image set, author avatar working via a new Simple Local Avatars plugin.
Day 13 I started an iOS app and a text-to-speak and speech-to-text project…
